Practicing in the Canandaigua area since 1990, Dr. Allen is an active competitor herself. She has trained a disparate group of baby horses in eventing and/or dressage, taking three horses up to international level eventing and two horses to Grand Prix level dressage. Well acquainted with the effort and occasional frustrations involved in training and conditioning horses, she is often able to help not only with lameness, but also with specific exercises that may help training and strength issues.
When not working, she can be found riding, walking her dogs, riding her bike, or playing the violin.

Keeping the practice running smoothly, Liz will make appointments, help manage prescriptions and most importantly, help you pay your bill! As the Mom to 5 horses, 4 dogs and a flock of chickens, Liz has a lifetime of experience in the animal world.
