Pre-Purchase Examinations
This exam is used to get a baseline on the horse you are considering for purchase. Any abnormalities or lameness will be noted, and the significance of these will be discussed. There is no crystal ball used in this exam; the future soundness or health of the horse cannot be warranteed, but it is good to know what conditions the horse already has, and an educated opinion about their significance in the future.
Chiropractic
Offering spinal manipulation on both horses and dogs. An initial chiropractic exam includes a look at the saddle for appropriate fit. (Horses only!)
Endoscopy
Using a flexible fiberoptic scope, the upper airway can be examined. Usually used if the horse is making an unusual noise, it can also be used to search for infection and sources of bleeding.
